Accellor designed & developed a solution integrated with backend systems to enable the organization to deliver the new set of services with separate self-service portals for patients & service providers

The client is a multinational healthcare conglomerate with operations in 7 countries. The network consists of 32 hospitals, 127 clinics, 521 pharmacies & 26,000+ employees. Their extensive infrastructure enables them to provide comprehensive healthcare services ranging from emergency care to specialized treatments. This expansive network supports a robust ecosystem of healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff, all working collaboratively to deliver high-quality care. With a commitment to innovation and patient-centric services, the conglomerate continually invests in state-of-the-art medical technology and training programs to ensure exceptional healthcare outcomes.
Challenge

The client was expanding to deliver home care services including doctor visits, nursing care, senior care, physiotherapy & diagnostic tests. The client wanted to build a solution to support the roll-out of these services. The primary challenge was to integrate these new services seamlessly with existing backend systems while ensuring an intuitive and user-friendly experience for both patients and service providers. Additionally, ensuring that these services could be delivered efficiently and without compromising on the quality of care posed a significant challenge. There was also a need to manage a large and diverse workforce effectively to ensure timely service delivery.

Solution

Accellor implemented an end-to-end solution for the client to deliver these services. The solution included a patient self-service portal where they can search for a service/test/package based on their location and/or preferred location and book them. This portal was designed with an intuitive interface to facilitate easy navigation and booking processes, ensuring that users of all age groups could use the platform effortlessly.

An admin portal enabled the client to manage service providers, catalogues, inventory, slot availability, bookings, and perform required actions. This admin portal was fortified with advanced analytics to give real-time insights and reporting capabilities, helping the client in making data-driven decisions to enhance service delivery.

Online self-registration & ad-hoc/on-location additional service booking functionalities were made available for service providers. This allowed healthcare workers to register their availability and manage their bookings efficiently, even accommodating last-minute changes and on-demand service requests. Enhanced security measures were also embedded to protect sensitive patient data and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

The integration of advanced features such as real-time tracking of service delivery, automated billing, and seamless communication channels ensured a high level of user satisfaction. The client experienced a significant reduction in administrative overheads and an improvement in service delivery times. Additionally, the patient engagement levels soared due to the user-friendly interface and the convenience of having multiple services accessible from a single platform.
